Cameras captured several visits to the tree house during November and December including multiple stays with a feast - an unfortunate blue jay. The jays will harass and attack the smaller ESO’s, but they are no competition. The portrait photo was two days after the initial house installation and is probably the male roosting and inspecting. As it it is difficult to tell them apart, I can only guess if one or both of the pair or even other ESO’s may have checked it out.
