This recent eso visit features an arrival and a cool tiny detail at the very end of the video - a second owl. Watch carefully and you might see the faint small blur enter the frame at 11 o’clock position and move towards the leafy branch to the left of the owl in the house. I believe it is good news, as it suggests a mating pair is checking out the house and general area. My wild guess (or imagination) says it is the female landing at the treehouse and the male following to protect them both.
In addition to more cameo appearances by the eso, titmouse in particular dare to have a peek at very close range - this one is on the bark at the edge of the opening and subsequently stuck his head inside to see for himself. And they have a lot to say about it, just like the blue jays, chickadees, cardinals, wrens, doves, cedar waxwings. . .
