02/26/24 - more short visits is a good thing
The owls have continued their occasional visits, albeit short in duration with most lasting 5 minutes or less. Both of them have arrived together several times as seen in the same frame of the exterior camera, typically one lands on the perch of the treehouse, the other lurks in the background. A mating pair clearly moving about together. Look very closely at the beginning of the short video, as it shows the second owl on a branch a little below and to the right of the treehouse. Watch for the glowing eye(s) to dart to the left, where they land on another branch directly below the treehouse. The glowing eye is again the marker. This morning one owl arrived at dawn and left fairly quickly, perhaps to roost in a cool place as our daytime temperatures are unusually hot.
